The area around Citrus Hills and Pine Ridge has seen some exciting growth with the development of new shopping centers, specialty stores, medical facilities and services throughout Citrus County. The towns of Inverness and Crystal River have recently been recognized for their quality of life and recreational attributes. What hasn’t changed is our low cost of living, low crime rate, no congestion and of course our spectacular year-round weather!
How can I find out about the neighborhood where my homesite is located?

What is the "Build on Your Homesite Program”?
It is a program designed specifically for those who already own a homesite withinCitrus Hills or Pine Ridge Estates but have not yet built on their property.
How much does it cost to build a new home on my existing homesite?
Our "Build on Your Homesite Program" offers several floorplans from which to choose. New Home prices, on your lot, range from the upper $300’s. In most cases your homesite will be your down payment.
How long does the construction of a new home take?
From the time you decide to build your new home with us it takes about 6 to 8 months.
I’d rather not go through the building process what other choices do I have?
You may want to trade the equity in your homesite towards a Showcase Home. Our Showcase Homes are new move-in ready homes ready for those not wanting to go through the construction process.
What is a Re-Discovery Visit?
This is a great way for property owners to visit Citrus Hills and Re-Discover why you purchased here in the first place! On your Re-Discovery Visit, you'll experience everything that Citrus Hills and Citrus County have to offer! From our beautiful model homes, the incredible amenities we offer to our spectacular Gulf coast location you’ll marvel at everything you see and do
How much does a Re-Discovery Visit cost?
The cost varies based on the time of year and the availability. Prior to traveling here one of our NHCs will be happy to help you with the best dates, room availability and cost. Typically rates range from $149 to $249, per couple for two nights and three days.

What is the Cost of Living at the Villages of Citrus Hills compared to where I live?
When you purchased your property the cost of living here almost certainly was lower than wherever you lived, and today that’s true was well. For example according to the ACCRA Cost of Living Index, daily living expenses in the Tampa area, which is the closest city measured that is near Citrus Hills, are approximately 34 percent less than living expenses in greater Boston. That is the case when we are compared with suburbs of all major metropolitan areas. Also Florida has no income tax, and real estate taxes are reduced for Florida residents because of the Homestead Exemption Act.
